Description of 1967 Pontiac GTO

Thank you for looking at my 1967 PHS documented real red/red GTO. It is a multi-award winning car taking trophies ranging from best paint to best of show. Please take your time reading the description of the car and looking at the photos. If at the end you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am the fourth owner of this GTO.The odometer currently shows approximately 17,800 miles. This GTO is an original red interior, Regimental red exterior with black vinyl top car. It began life with a 400 cubic inch V8 with a Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission. Original options included power steering, power brakes, pushbutton radio with manual antenna, custom seat belts, walnut steering wheel and center console. Itcontinues to have its original sheet metal, hood, trunk, floors, bumpers, glass, interior pieces and most of the trim. The original motor has been replaced with a 1968 date code428 cubic inch engine and a 4 speed transmission with Hurst Shifter. It also has headers, intake and carburation.

Paint workwas performed in August 2012. Extensive research was done to find a paint shop to duplicate the paint as close to original. It has been polished to look amazing. Many sections including the entire underneath of the trunk deck lid still have alltheoriginal paint. Trim and interior pieces were also replaced at that time. The transmission was also rebuilt in August 2012.The engine was rebuilt in September 2013. I have the receipts for everything. Can provide a list of parts used to rebuild engine and transmission upon request. October 2016new shocks and new brakes were installed.

This GTO has been displayed at the AutoGeek Detail Fest car show and even took best in class for 1965-1970 class at the AACA Vero Beach show. The car has been used locally for ads and photo shoots. It won awards in every show it was entered to the point that the car is now entered just to show and not be judged.I have truly loved this car and feel I have fully experienced all it has to offer.I decided to move my collection in a different direction thus this beauty mustgo.

This 1967 GTO is not a 100 point show car but is in excellent condition for its age and isa good honest car. It is solid. Ithandles well, drives straight and the brakes stop the car perfectly. It is perfectly aligned and drives straight with one finger. It shifts perfectly through all 4 gears and into reverse. That said, this is a 50 year old car. It can break. It does not come with any warranty.

I am not looking to trade for anything. I am not going to finance the car. Please have all funds available at time of purchase. After purchase, $1000 non-refundable deposit is required within 72 hours and the remainder of the balance within 7 days. The car is used and sold in "as-is" condition. Feel free to come and inspect the car prior to bidding.Shipping is responsibility of the buyer.I am approximately 40 minutes north of West Palm Beach..

Please look at all the pictures. There are a lot so please have patience while they load. If afterwardyou have any questions, please call or text me at 814-360-6116 or message me through EBay. I don’t know what is important to you but will do my best to answer questions to the best of my knowledge.
