Description of 1967 Pontiac Le Mans Lemans |
1967 Pontiac Lemans for sale For your consideration is a running, driving, shifting, and braking 1967 Pontiac Lemans 4 door sedan. This Lemans is a two owner car and last owner told me it is the original 326-V8 motor. Car has a 2 barrel GM Rochester 2 jet carburetor with Automatic transmission. 95,447 original miles Great black cloth front bench seats and interior. The AC system works and is retrofitted with modern freon and control modules on the dash. Just needs to refill freon. 14" rally wheels & trim ring -rare!!! The lemans was restored in 2008 (see pictures), however it has peeling clearcoat on the surface of the hood, sides of doors, and trunk with some rust on the rear window area . Good candidate to restore clear coat, plastidip, or repaint. I do not see any rust in under carriage, trunk, in engine area so it is a very solid metal car. Body is very straight. All badging inside and outside are intact. Engine bay is clean without the decrepit rust, but it is in wonderful shape, especially for a 50 year old car. VIN: 237397K126965 --------------- 2 = Pontiac 37 = Le Mans 39 = 4 door hardtop 7 = 1967 K = Kansas City, MO 126965 = 26,965th built Because this car was a prior restoration and had bodywork and was repainted in 2008, it will not take much to proudly show off car as frame, engine, interior, and bodywork already addressed only 7 years ago. If you know Lemans or GTO, you know that the rust by rear windows were common and prior owner didn't garage car the past few years hence the peeling clear coat and back rust. I was going to keep this car but I'm going to move on and find a 2 door Impala instead. Car is parked in Moreno Valley, California in secure location.. $1,000 non-refundable paypal deposit due within 48 hrs of winning auction. Remainder by cash or official bank check.
