Description of 1929 Pontiac Sedan

Bet you wish you'll be looking this good when you approach 90-years-old. This 1929 Pontiac gives you the opportunity to have a unique sedan that will be one of the oldest classics you can drive to the show...and look fantastic doing it!
Pontiac fans know the 1920s are very significant. Pontiac was supposed to be the companion brand to Oakland, but they proved so popular, that they became the main attraction. And a sedan like this makes it instantly recognizable why they were so popular. We're told the two-tone black and blue is a close representation to the original color. And an older restoration means it has the kind of lacquer gloss that will have many thinking it's original. Plus, as people get closer, they'll marvel at the triple pinstripe setup that highlights the curves of the fenders, door line, and roof. Plus, even the derails are great with the dual bumpers, separate rear trunk, color-matched wood wheels, and the Indian-head hood ornament that announces this Pontiac is the true "Chief of the Sixes."
Inside, the gray velour cloth on the two rows of plush seats represents the era quite well. The tall greenhouse, roll-down windows, and, plenty of legroom makes this Pontiac a pleasant place to be. Driving is easy going with a conventional setup that includes a floor-mounted three-speed. The gauge panel with readouts for oil, fuel, power, and speed might not seem too special today, but it was double what you got in a Ford Model A!
1929 is also a significant year, because the inline-six motor was upgraded to 200 cubic-inches. So it's great to see the period-correct powerplant under the hood today. This upgrade nearly added 25% more horsepower over the previous year without losing the smooth operation the inline motor was known for providing. The engine bay looks refreshingly stock, but it carries a key upgrade to a 12-volt electric system. That makes this easier to operate. And the same goes for the three-speed manual transmission with enough ratios to keep you moving, even if you're going uphill.
Complete with a service manual, this is a true piece of history that makes you the most interesting person everywhere you go just by arriving. Call today!!!
