Rumor had it that he had the car in dry storage from 1975-2000. We removed about 8 tractors, 10,000 of boxes are misc. items to get this car out of storage. The driveline was completely gone through and this car runs very strong! No smoke on start up. Trans shifts great, excellent power. suspension and brakes were completely rebuilt. This is a excellent driver. While the paint is mostly original, it shows "patina". Just a great all around time machine. Everything works in the car, all lights, signals, ect. This car has never been restored, is fully PHS documented, is 97% as delivered! It has no reproduction parts on it...its just a very nice original car. Pinchwelds are perfect, ALL original sheetmetal... perfect floors. This car is absolutely what you've been looking for. Car includes PHS Protect-O-Plate Haggerty Price Guide values a 67 400 HO Automatic Coupe at $49300in #3 Condition $90,000in excellent condition and $106,000 in #1 Condition I know Hagerty Price Guides are very optimistic! And sometimes they live in dream land...but this car is also ORIGINAL! Am I interested in any trades? Not at this time. You can call me at (630) 273-7595 and leave a message. I can assist with shipping as much as Ican. I think my description is very detailed...and borderline overkill, but it is important to me that the buyer has ALL available information at hand to make a bid based on all available information! Inspections are welcomed andencouraged. Thisparticular "goat" is very well known in the Pontiac community as a very nicely pedigreed car. This vehiclesreputation precedes it. It needs nointroduction...has never been offered for sale at any price...but this one of a kind "legend" could be yours today. If you are looking for a "budget" GTO...this is not it. It is however a nice RARE Triple black HO Coupe at a relatively reasonable price. |
