Hello I just purchased this car locally from the gentlemen who bought it new in 1975 from Larry Hopkins in Sunnyvale California, its been sitting for the last 10 years, I just bought new tires, battery, spark plugs/wires etc, I removed the air cleaner, spark plugs, air cond/compressor, radiator and shroud so that I can get to the spark plugs and lubricate the cylinders once I did this I was able to turn the engine over freely, I did not try to start it I only wanted to find out if the motor was seized up, the gentlemen I purchased it from told me that its all original including the paint and the motor, I have not verified this, the transmission was also rebuilt but I cannot determine when since it doesn't show the mileage, Im assuming the motor has turned over once or even twice so the mileage is over 100,000, he said the car was in good driving condition when he parked it, it was parked under cover during this time, there are some body dings and the windshield is cracked, the interior is pretty much complete the driver seat is pretty worn and carpet as well, this could be a nice survivor with a little work, selling as is, I have a bunch of other projects and need to move this one so my wife doesn't leave me..LOL Please know that this is a project car and will need work so I'm only looking for serious buyers that arent going to waste my time, I've tried to describe everything that I know about the car, please only make an offer if you are serious, I have had people already waste my time and have had to relist do to non paying buyers.
