Description of 1973 Pontiac Firebird FORMULA 350

1973 FIREBIRD FORMULA 350. FACTORY 4 SPEED . Documented by [ PHS] PONTIAC HISTORIC SOCIETY. All PHS documents included with vehicle. Engine block code reads - 830779 - ZB. Cylinder head code - 4C. I found article in Pontiac musclecar performance by Pete McCarthy that autherticates engine code numbers as original motor. See pic. Original 2V intake and carb have been replaced with 4barrel. I do have original 2V air cleaner. air tube. air pump with bracket. I do not have original 2V intake or carb. I HAVE REPLACED mechanical fuel pump. valve cover gaskets. front calipers. both front brake hoses. rear center brake hose. L and r park brake cables and rear. I am including front park foot ratchet cable. not installed. still in box. I Also have installed master cylinder. ignition lock cylinder. rear pinion seal. both universal joints. front grease seals. both rear wheel cylinders. nbsp;thermostat 160. I HAVE BUT ARE NOT INSTALLED. ORIGINAL== . front and rear window chrome trim in very good condition. lower rocker chrome trim. needs cleaning. top roof shoulder harness. both rear male seat belts. 1 rear female. Washer bottle and bracket. nbsp; right side kick panel in fair condition. L side is installed in good condition. both female front seat belts. ront and rear ash trays. and other trim pieces. Back panel that supports rear speakers is in pretty good shape with light surface rust. Rear sail panels are in fair shape and could probable be reinstalled. Vehicle has headers. new super turbo mufflers. no tail pipes. I got car driveable and have only driven about 10 miles. Car was sitting since 1988. Transmission wined in 2nd and 3rd. Very high ratio non-posi rear differential. 3. 00 ratio. I was told by previous owner that a mild cam was installed years ago. As you probably know these 350 motors are not hi po. 170 HP with 2 barrel. As you can see by pictures this car needs restoration. Trunk pan. nbsp;L-side floor pan windshield and other panels shown in pictures all need replacing. I am personal friends with previous owner and was told that car was in a collision in right front and impact cracked front windshield. I cannot guarantee that sub frame is not bent. but car seemed to drive good. Front clip was replace with firebird front clip. It has regular firebird fender emblems on it. Front nose is in bad shape. needs work. I am including new formula 350 reproduction fender emblems. Radiator support out of 73 TA with only surface rust. the one in it is pretty bad. 73 Formula steering wheel. 8 track player. I have rear window defroster. it works Car has power steering. power brakes. I do not have center console. Interior needs work. L-side upper door panel is in very bad shape. Lower door panels have speeker holes in them. Bucket seats. rear backs and bottoms fair condition. No headliner. Rear interior side panels are in excellent condition. Ive owned this car for 2 years but times are tough. have to many projects. 90% of parts . screws . olts are bagged and tagged.
