I purchased this car several years ago with intentions of performing a full restoration and now realize I will never get to it. It has not been registered since 1982. I was told it was traded in at the Pontiac dealer with engine problems so a mechanic there bought it and stuck it in a barn and abandoned it. This is a rolling body (no engine/trans.). The original stock exhaust with catalytic converter are still under the car along with the 3:23 posi rear end. It rolls freely on rally 2 wheels and the tires hold air. The quarter panels need replacing due to rust along with the radiator support, sub-frame & drivers door. The hood & fenders were beyond repair & discarded. The floors are decent along with the trunk floor which both need minor patching. The deck lid has a rust hole on the inside front but the edge is nice. The right door is decent. The front bumper will need reconditioning. The rear rails & spring mounts appear solid. The pics show exactly what you would be getting. I have a clear NYS title in my name to transfer ownership. 1976 was the last year of round head lights & the 455 engine. There were only about 7000 455 cars ever produced & only about 2500 were black and very few with the 97N deluxe white seat option. Restore it or part it out for profit, either way its a good deal. A low starting bid & no reserve on a 3 day auction for a quick sale. A non refundable $500 deposit within 48 hours is required. I will assist with loading on your trailer or work with your transporter. I reserve the right to reject any bids from negative feedback or new users since I have recently had 2 non paying bidders with only 1 feedback rating.
