Description of 1985 Pontiac Firebird trans am |
1985 Pontiac Trans Am Americas car Get out your rollerblades....where is that tank top....ask mom what she did with the Nintendo... The car you have been dreaming of is finally here. In a 5 day ony auction I am going to offer someone the chance to purchase the icon of the 1980's This is the 1985 Pontiac Trans Am. This car was found in the late Steve Mallions speed shop in Philadelphia. It was stuffed in the back corner for 10 or more years. It had an unknown amount of engine work done before the owner decided not to pay for the services. It was then forced to spend eternity as a work bench till we came to its rescue. We found the original owner and purchased the car from him we have a good title It will be a project to get back on the street. The engine is tighter and mostly installed. The carb is just sitting on the intake, there is no exhaust yet, and the driveshaft is out still. The car will turn over, but I have never tried to start it for fear of being so excited by the sound that I would keep it. The interior needs a good cleaning. Both the drivers and passenger seats have tears. Nothing a seat cover wouldn't take care of. There is some wiring hanging down. It looks to be just under dash acc. and not cut up. The paint is about a 3 out of 10. you could drive it if you want that just out of long term storage, I was once a workbench look, but that's not for me. Its a good start on a cool project. Thank you for your time. This is a no reserve auction. Bid to win!!! Be as excited as your neighbors will be when you tow it home!!! On Nov-23-16 at 03:21:51 PST, seller added the following information: This is an original V-8 car. It was in the speed shop to have the TPI converted to carburetor. I believe the engine had recently been rebuilt. Looks really clean. I am unsure if this is a GTA |
