Description of 1967 Pontiac GTO |
I am selling my 1967 pontiac GTO hardtop. numbers matching project car. Ill start off with the good: numbers matching 400ci with 4 spd. has the hurst shifter option as well as power steering and quadra-jet carb. Currently has hurst short throw 4spd shifter in it but have original hurst shifter as well. this car has been in the family since 1983 and has been kept garaged most its life. only 105. XX original miles. Its a great candidate for a restoration. needs body work. theres the normal rust/rot on both quarter panels. as well as fenders with some bad body work that needs to be redone (see pics). There are a few small dents in the car but nothing big. Started stripping it to do all the body work but ended up just spraying the bare metal with a coat of flat black for protection. Theres a few holes in the floor pan as well as trunk floor but can be patched without doing full pans (see pics). Alot of the car is apart but i have all the main parts to be put back together just some trim needs to be replaced and maybe a few other small parts. have oem radio. door cars. most the trim. sill plates. door trim. wheel well trim. body moldings (some needs to be replaced) etc. Most these are the original parts so are "driver" quality. I have a full set of rally II rims for the car as well. And could use interior redone. carpets are gone so you can see the floor pan. have rest of the original interior but could use a refresh. The radiator recently acquired a leak. It runs but could use a tune up. the car basically needs a full restoration but is very worth it for a great base with great potential if your looking for a numbers matching 1967 GTO. This a project car! You can reach me at (860)459-2148 or Hondaatcrider@yahoo. com for further questions. I am open to offers. |
