Description of 1977 Pontiac Trans Am T-top |
Up for sale is a great restorable project car that I've had stored inside for the last decade and a half. Too many projects and not enough time. I closed my restoration business a few years ago and have decided to let this one go as long as it brings a respectable price. Lets see what this brings! The 403 engine matches the VIN (pic attached) We bought the car from Las Vegas (Davey Deals for you classic car TV buffs) The body is very straight and not cobbled like many out there. Both bumper covers show cracked paint. One small repairable break in the drivers front cover shown in pics. A few dings and scratches BUT very little rust (shown) thanks to its previous dry life! Many new parts are included, some of which are correct red door panels and seat covers, some weatherstrip sets and seals plus many additional used parts will go with the car. Being a t-top car there is some older rust in the floors but what we consider minor. Full set of undercarriage pictures are available to serious buyers to make up your own mind! Frame is solid with surface rust. This car hasn't been started for at least 15 years nor do I have any interest in going thru the process to properly start it after such a long time. Tank contains old fuel but fuel filter still has fuel in it! Headliner is there but loose, carpet is totally shot, center console is missing the flip lid, dash has a couple cracks, radio hole has been cut, mismatched ash tray, one of my guys apparently borrowed the hood latch for another somewhere along the line. transmission and engine and rear axle all show leaks but so old to tell exactly where. So just be aware! There are windshield visors in the trunk that I can't get open (can be seen thru the completely missing package tray cover.) Glass is good! Cowl tag and block stamp are shown so you can see how this came originally. The matching wheel (flat) is included (Or I have the set of Pontiac Rallys if you prefer) Miles shown are exempt on the clear Nebraska Title. There will be parts missing, stuff that doesn't work, this car will need full restoration, but its a great place to start: Decent body, numbers matching, t-top car with very little rust. I kept this car so long because this is getting very difficult to find. Original plan was to keep it and restore it together with my sons but here's your chance! I will happily share a google photo album with 64 pictures with serious inquiries. I have sold (and bought) hundreds of cars over the years and pride myself in giving honest accurate descriptions so you can buy sight unseen with confidence. If you are local feel free to come take a look personally. Its possible that I missed a few things so I am happy to answer any questions Just Email thru Ebay to ask! Thanks for Looking!!! The car is also offered for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Buyer must pay cash in full or wire transfer within 36 hours of auction ending and buyer must arrange and pay all shipping costs. Free pickup is available. |
