Description of 1980 Pontiac Trans Am |
Since the first buyers of BOTH cars neglected to pay within 2 weeks, or even give a deposit, these cars are both back up for sale in a NO RESERVE package deal format. Both cars sold for $3300 last time as seen in the pictures. First, the Gold Car 1980 Pontiac Trans Am. True WS4 car. Off the road since 1997. Sold with a New York State Bill of Sale and title application. The car was towed/impounded and then abandoned which is the reason for lack of title. I bought it off of the towing company with intentions to part out. I have the paperwork to apply for a title and I will work with the buyer to provide a title for them if requested (DMV is closed due to the virus so I cannot apply at the time). The car is a complete car and was running and driving into the early 2000's. The towing company needed a water pump so they snagged it off of the car since it was sitting around and they never put it back which is what lead to it sitting. The interior is nice and complete headliner has a small hole about 1"x1" above the driver seat, the dash is beautiful (it had a cover on it its whole life until I took pictures) with the exception of a small spider crack on the passenger side (note picture). The rear window louver does not go with the car as I am keeping it for my car. The rear frame rails are rotted and need to be replaced. The drivers side floor has a hole in it. The front fenders are pretty decent, the doors are also pretty decent with the exception of the drivers door dent and some rot down low. The hood has no rot. The spoiler is good but the deckled has rot underneath. The trunk is full of stuff so I did not view the condition of the trunk floor but I assume it has rot since the frame railssomehave rot. This is a great car for parts or repair. It is a complete car and parts are valuable. I can help arrange shipping. Located just outside of Albany NY. I want this car to sell! Second, the Blue Car 1980 Trans Am, true WS4 car, with a Pontiac 301 (assumed based on the Pontiac valve covers and the car being unmolested) and Automatic Transmission. Car is for parts or repair. I have a New York State bill of sale and title application but cannot apply for a new title due to Covid. If the new buyer wants a title I can work to get one once DMV opens. This is a complete car that has been sitting for a number of years. The rear frame rails are rotted, the rear floors are not there and the front floors are pretty rotted. It does have 4 nice Snowflake Wheels, Bucket Seats and a number of other good parts on it. It does not run nor drive and I cannot get the hood open to view the engine due to the pull cable being seized. I do know that it is a complete engine because I can see under the hood slightly and it is all there. "Ran when parked and never touched" if you will. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to message me. I will work with bidders to ensure a smooth transaction. NO RESERVE! BID TO WIN! I have a shipper who I use andtrust who ships cars in this condition very economically. Before the buyer neglected to pay, my shipper quoted him $500 to ship the Gold car from Albany, NY to Michigan. He is willing to work package deals for multiple cars going to the same location. The buyer is responsible for shipping but I can assist and will do my best with whatever you need. |
