Description of 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix

Hello,
Up for sale is a beautiful 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix factory 4 speed car. I've had this car in my private collection for some years now after purchasing it from a family in the State of Washington. This car is a west coast car and it shows. I have all of the PHS documentation to go along with it as well. I've decided to complete some of my other projects, so I'm looking for this one to go to a good new home.
Exterior / Body:
The exterior of the car is in great shape, no rust and has never had any rust repair. This is an extremely solid west coast car. The quarter panels, fenders, rockers, doors, hood, floors and trunk are all rust free and are some of the cleanest I've seen, with no repairs. The body for such a large car is very straight and ready for a beautiful new coat of paint. This is originally a factory Marina Turquoise (L) car, which is beautiful when done and in the sun. All of the trim is in good condition and also goes with the car, it was pulled off in preparation for restoration and the repaint. It will all be properly wrapped and placed in the car for transportation.
Engine / Chassis:
This car was factory optioned with a WE code 389in engine and a factory 4 speed manual, it still retains both today as can be seen in the images. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner but never fired before my ownership. I was able to get it back up to running condition, it runs very smoothly and will do so for many years to come. The transmission shifts very smoothly through all of the gears and the clutch is brand new. The rear end doesn't make any noise and feels smooth. The brakes are new and feel great. Most importantly, the frame is solid with no rust.
Interior:
The car was optioned with factor black interior. It has factory bucket seats with a center console. The rear seat and the drivers seat have been recovered. The carpet is brand new. The door panels are very clean with new arm rests and recently replaced lower carpet. The dash pad has no cracks. This car was also optioned with a factor dash tach, which it still retains today. The wood grain on the center console has been replaced and refinished as well. It also has a new package tray. Very little work is required to make this interior perfect for summer cruises.
Overall this is a nice solid original example of a factory car that needs little work to be a complete car running and driving down the road for the family to enjoy!
