It is an older restoration/build. The interior needs to be redone and the paint needs to be redone or cleaned up. The air controller was not working and Ridetech no longer made that model. I decided to switch to coil-overs (which I prefer). A specialty shop just (last week) put in a new McLeod clutch kit, flywheel, throw out bearing and pilot bearing and changed leaking valve cover and header gaskets. Second note: I am a private seller, not a dealer. Many photos were taken in the storage facility, hence the many nice cars in the background.I have the articles and documents for the car that were passed along to me and receipts for the work I had done. This one of a kind Pro-touring 1969 Firebird Convertible built by Pro-touring specialist Prodigy Customs. There were over 3,000 hours invested in this build, sparing no expense and using only the very best parts available. Accomplishments include 2007 SEMA Top 10 Muscle Cars of SEMA, two appearances at the Performance Racing Show, invited by Goodguys to compete for Street Machine of the Year and "High Performance Pontiac" 7-page feature/cover. Powering this over the top Firebird is the Holy Grail of Pontiac engines. A 525ci Aluminum Block from “Butler Performance” featuring a 4.310-inch bore; a SCAT 4340 4.500-inch stroke forged crank; Manley 6.700-inch 4340-steel H-beam rods; and Ross forged, "Butler-design," dished pistons to provide a 10.9:1 compression ratio. Pro-stock style raised port heads built to 535cid. Custom Hogan's Sheetmetal intake, dual 70mm throttle bodies and a nitrous fogger system that is plumbed but not active. The transmission is a Tremec TKO-600 5-speed manual and the rear end is a 3.73 Moser 12-bolt.The best components money could buy were combined to create the best possible handling and ride. These upgrades include a Speedtech subframe with rack-and-pinion steering, tubular upper and lower control arms, and a NASCAR-style splined 1.25-inch sway bar that is tied to the body with Detroit Speed and Engineering subframe connectors. An Air Ride Technology Shockwave 3.0/Airpod system was also installed to replace the Firebirds original coils and shocks. The Firebird is also outfitted with Prodigy Bar triangulated four-link rear suspension and a 0.625-inch rear sway bar.The body was channeled for an aggressive low ride height while maintaining full suspension travel. This car rides incredibly smooth on the highway and has excellent autocross handling. The brake system is equally impressive using Wilwood's largest brake set-up including 14" front and 14" rear brakes with custom blue calipers. Forgeline 19" Snowflake wheels with massive 295/30/19 front and 345/30/19 rear tires. The body has many subtle changes to improve the body lines and flow, while not losing the classic original Firebird beauty. Molded rear bumper, billet center fuel filler, billet taillights, custom headlight buckets and bumper were made eliminating the factory enduro strip. Flush-mounted windshield. Steel roll bar that is completely integrated into the body for safety and strength. Interior is custom and built for comfort and style. Power windows, tilt wheel, Vintage Air conditioning, Blue Cobalt gauges, JVC Infinity audio system with excellent sound. Mercedes blue cloth convertible top, custom one-off hardtop boot cover that matches the hood scoops. As one of the top ten muscle cars at SEMA 2007, no expense was spared to make the Empty Nest Trans Am one of the best Trans Am tributes ever. an ultra-rare 535ci aluminum block with detuned street Pro Stock style raised port heads fed by custom Hogan’s Sheetmetal intake and dual 70MM throttle bodies, it sends power through a Tremec TKO-600 5 speed transmission to the 3.73 Moser 12 bolt rear. The Speedtech subframe, “Prodigy Bar” 4-link rear suspension, and 4 wheel Ridetech coil-overs provide a smooth ride on the highway and excellent autocross handling. The brake system consists of 14 inch front and rear Wilwood rotors with custom blue calipers. Traction is managed by 19 inch Forgeline TA3 wheels with massive 295/30/19 front and 345/30/19 rear tires. Here is a link to the article about the original buildhttps://www.motortrend.com/features/hppp-0902-1969-pontiac-firebird-convertible/
