Description of 1990 Porsche 911 C4

Its time to pass the torch. First and foremost, love this car. Its character is unparalleled and just puts a giant smile on your face driving it. While C4 cab's are not the quickest of the bunch, his is a true driver - hence she clocks in 119k miles. The car is located currently in Lincoln Park in Chicago. Always garaged in a heated indoor space (next to its 993 brother).

A little History & Maintenance:
  • Pretty much 1 owner car owned since 1995 by a female
  • Has been serviced its entire life (all the way through last year) at Porsche Exchange in Highland Park and now Perfect Power in Buffalo Grove with Sol
  • Early 2015 got a full refresh of the top end (valves, eals, tc) by Sol @ Perfect Power as well as Belts etc.
  • Brand new clutch installed at the same time, ess than 2k on new clutch also installed by Sol@Perfect Power
  • Has Bilstein shocks all around that ride perfect with OEM springs
  • New Rotors/Pads done in 2014
  • All fluids flushed 2 months ago and full inspection performed by Alex@Performance Eurowerx. Its on Brad Penn oil now and barely burns anything!
  • Car has no lights, o issues and no leaks. Yes none!

Upgrades:
  • Bilstein Shocks all around as mentioned before
  • Battery tender hardwired
  • Pioneer CD Player and Eclipse speakers all around
  • Removed one muffler so it sounds just perfect with a small grumble

The not so great:
  • Its a 25 year old car and a driver - it has paint chips on the hood
  • Odometer was replaced (fully documented through carfax) at 82k miles and the car currently shows 37k. Common issue for these cars to break odometer gears. Some people buy the gears, thers just get new clusters - clearly Porsche Exchange of Highland Park chose a new cluster
  • Front seat has a rip along one seam. Easy repair (may be fixed by the time someone comes out)
  • The inside liner of the top could be replaced in a few years. The outside top is brand new! - Wait, hats a good thing, should move this
  • Its missing a loving new owner
