Description of 1990 Porsche 911 |
Relisting due to a second non-paying bidder. Please do not put in an offer unless you plan to buy the car. Relisting for sale is not a fun activity I wish to do over. Everyone, mail me prior to submitting an offer. Serious buyers only please. Hello. You are bidding on a Grand Prix white 1990 Porsche 911 964 Carrera 4 that has underwent an extensive paint and mechanical refresh. I have over $26,000 in receipts for this car over the last two years. I had the car redone, ut unfortunately I have to sell due to a move and now I lost garage space. The engine runs great, he transmission shifts very well, nd the clutch seems to be perfectly fine. Test drive are encouraged to serious buyers. The car was taken down to bare metal and glass was removed for the job. The entire body was disassembled for the paint job and the car went through countless stages to get a show quality paint job. All the glass and body seals are new and the glass is in great shape. The paint job was in the neighborhood of $15,000 when it was all said and done. Exterior modifications include the RS front bumper inlets, enuine 930 turbo tail, nd RUF front lip and emblems. All which can be easily removed if the new owner decides. New body/engine stickers were applied just as the factory would have. I tried to make the car look like it would have from the factory, inus the aftermarkets. The interior received new RS carpet and new genuine headliner. The 8- way heated adjustable seats are original and are in great shape. The power features on the seats work as they should. The dash is in great shape with no cracks and the steering wheel has very little flaws and wear. The electronics all work as they should. The only major wear on the interior is the shift knob, nd that is not badly worn. The rear deck is in excellent condition. The sunroof functions properly and was just serviced. After the car was painted, he PPI I had O'daniel Porsche in Ft. Wayne, ndiana was assessed. The car needed several thousands of dollars in work and routine maintenance. The car had a valve adjustment and gaskets, ew plugs and wires, enuine belts, uel filter, nd all fluids changed out with synthetics. The car had a cylinder leak down and compression test done to check the health of the engine. The cylinder leak down came back 10-15%, hich is still great and compression was fantastic as well. The all wheel drive system is working properly and the diff lock switch works too. Only engine mods are a fabspeed intake box with K&N filter and a performance cup pipe, hich deletes the primary muffler. I think it sounds pretty good. The engine does leak oil, ut its very, ery little. Suspenion wise, ew Bilstein HD shocks and struts were installed along with Eibach sport springs. Bob Farmer aligned the car and set to level afterwards. All the bushings are in fine shape and do not need replaced. The wheels are Ronal/ACT 17 inch wheels. They are straight and true. The tires are BF Goodrich Comp sports and have 80%+ tread life left. Brake pads and cross drilled/slotted rotors are new. The car was involved in a front end "offroad" single-car, ccident back in 2003. The owner at the time drove the car into a wall at the hospital he worked at. I have the carfax to show the incident, ut the title is clean and clear. The car drives great and there is no frame rail damage of any sort. The damage was light enough the original bumper is still on the car, ut the airbag did go. Airbags are currently mounted, ut bypassed with the Genuine Porsche RS bridge. The car was originally linen grey and I have the authenticity report to show anyone. The AC is currently not working. I am not sure if it just needs a recharge, ut the compressor will kicked on. The blower motor needs replaced and the rear driver's caliper needs a rebuild as well (60 dollar kit). The sunroof panel needs upholstered and I have the leather to do so to go with the car. There are no other fault codes besides the blower motor. Everything else on this car works as it should. The car will come with the spare valet key, eceipts, nd manual. This is a great driver car. I had the care redone for me to drive and enjoy. Potential buyers should see the car as such, ut with very minor work it will have no issues. I have an set of 996 c4 twist wheels/tires that can go with the car for an extra $400 and brand new Nology Hot Wires for $300 ($500 new). The car will be sold as is, here is, ith no warranties of any kind implied. I will ship the car anywhere at buyer's expense and they are to make arrangements. I have a shipper I always use and trust, o I can provide info to call them. Buying the car on Ebay and showing up to negotiate price is not acceptable. If you cannot see car prior to purchasing I can do anything needed to show buyers this car is ready to go. Any questions, lease email me via ebay. I have the car for sale locally and have the right to end the auction at any given point. Title in hand and car is ready to go. Thank you and happy bidding. |
