1983 Porsche 944 I got the notion to look for Porsches after watching some recent TV series that depict life in the 80's. In the TV sitcom 'The Goldbergs', here's an episode with a Porsche 928 that mimics a scene from the 80's hit movie 'Risky Business' with Tom Cruise. Cruise's character, oel, ets his father's beloved Porsche roll off a dock and it ends up sinking into a lake. I remember watching the movie and the impact it had on me--all I could think was how such an awesome sports car got ruined! Now we're seeing increase in value for these forgotten stars. They're starting to shine bright again and in the near future will be brighter than ever. In the last five years there's been a steady increase in value and each year that goes by there's been a bigger increase than the year before. This particular car is the best available investment grade 944 on the market. This Porsche had one owner who took meticulous care, o the extent of writing down every single gas stop, ecording the mileage, ate and price per gallon of each stop. He even capped and laminated the dealership key-tag, long with all of the original sale brochures, ocumentation, assette tape, eys and any other additionals that were given to him at the time of the sale. We have the original title, omplete tool kit, ire compressor and a number of original knick knacks. The car runs and performs beautifully. I have to give credit to the original owner who put so much effort and care into preserving this car so that other Porsche enthusiast can enjoy the experience like he once did.
