Description of 1972 Porsche 911

1972 Porsche 911. Matching numbers. Original a Albert Blue car and can be again. Which is kind of darker blue. Famous mechanical fuel injection and the one-year-only side oil door. It was also the first year displacement bumped to 2. 4 liters. Sometime in the past during engine rebuild. the engine had been upgraded with better cylinders. As the market continues to grow for “long-hood” 911s. the 1972 model is quickly becoming one of the most desirable. Especially harder to find are Coupes. This car is very well preserved. it was in UTAH. which is dessert most of it. Has all original floors and no rust problems ever. After extensive refurbishment between 2010 and 2014. like fuel injection. fuel pump. fuel tank cleaned. all new fuel hoses and lines. all new brake hoses. calipers rebuild. new seats. wheels. tires. steering work. shifter work. nbsp; engine work like valve adjustments. timing chain and tension. compression 140 to 145. perfect running and idling engine. nbsp; no oil leaks. no smoke either. pulls strong and even through all RPM range. Starts easy with use of the working hand throttle. Brakes are perfect. I am driving this car now. so some dirt will show in the pictures. The condition of the car is excellent. A true survivor. The car was repainted sometime in the early 80’sand always kept in top mechanical and cosmetic condition. Also has the original door panel set up and not the cheep RS ones.
