Description of 1986 Porsche 944 |
Clean little 944, automatic, 4cyl with $2k in service just over two years ago, phone dial wheels with excellent tread. Most things work on the Porsche and above average. Interior great shape and clean other than tear on driver seat, has factory floor mats and. Car runs a little warm on hot days (3/4 up on gage) but still is driven with out over heating, engine runs awesome with new a battery (I know these are known for head issues or gaskets but NO oil in coolant or coolant in oil) worst case I think is a water pump to run cooler..Body is near perfect and a very good repaint 4 years ago due to faded metallic enamel paint, 1 minor ding in hood but a quality paint job that cost over $4k at the time (base coat/clear coat). I did remove the "door ding" side modings and place them in the hatch area if someone wanted to re-install them (looks great without them) tires, brakes and exhaust are excellent.Nice car all in all with clean title that drives good and is still driven often also a work car for me. Items not working or need attention are: Leaks oil from front of engine? (3 inch spot on garage floor in a week)SunroofWindshield WipersOdometerA/CFan knob broke (blower fan works on all speeds)Center console lid brokePaasenger side sun visor clipūShifter release spring broke (shifts fine )Digital lock on dashTachometerDrivers seat needs "power recline" switch replaced I believe all the things are simple with replacement parts or relays? A days worth of tinkering.... Last pic is a 1985 Porsche 928s with only 43k for miles, 2 owner and documented for $17500 (I will throw this car in for FREE if someone buys the 928!) |
