Description of 1969 Porsche 911 |
This Porsche American Roadster Tribute car is based on a 1992 Porsche American Roadster. This Outlaw/RWB inspired build started with a1969 911T chassis that was taken down to bare metal 2500 miles ago in this transformation / total restoration. Motor is a Porsche 3.3 liter turbo motor, rebuilt 2500 miles agowith Turbo Kraft (premier Porsche speed shop in Phoenix) performance touches and tuning producing 540 horsepower on pump gas and 570 horsepower on race gas. The motor is mated to a fresh clutch and Carrera geared G-50 5 speed transmission with a very rare limited slip differential. The engine is very drivable in town and traffic off boost and the performance is incredible when you put your foot into it. All suspension A arms and trailing arms were removed and refinished with new Elephant Racing bushings. The suspension is tied together with a full suspension redo from Elephant Racing that includes tuned coil overs on all four corners, front and rear Tarrett adjustable sway bars, turbo tie rods and bump steer kit and full mono ball and race bushings throughout. The car handles beyond words and goes down the freeway smooth and stable. It has never been tracked but would be a great DE/Track car. The body includes C2 inspired fiberglassbumpers with 13" flares in the rear. Fiberglass front hood with center fill tank and integrated rear deck lid with 3.8 RSR rear spoiler. Power is put to the ground via custom Forgeline wheels and BF Goodrich "meats". A professionally completed halo roll bar secures the 5 point safety harnesses and provides additional chassis stiffening. ROT tec custom racing seats. Leather, cross stitched, heated with carbon fiber shells. Beautiful Porsche Mexico blue paint job with a 993 style manual convertible top and RS America door panels and carpet. I purchased the car from the creator last Fall and regrettably am moving in a different direction with a project and am offering for sale. Beautifully executed project guaranteed to thrill.
