Description of 1975 Porsche 914 |
1975 Porsche 914 1.8 L Jetronic Hello, this car is located in Pittsburgh Pa. It's been reliable for the past eight years which is the amount of time owned by me. The car comes with receipts dating back to 1975 roughly. Body damage means: minor rust bubbles on body sized below a dime. These have just started and have been monitored and brush touched. No Major Rust! The right front fender has been lightly tapped by another vehicle, leaving a small crease around indicator. Most major structural points are still very much solid. This project has engine mods and runs awesome. Just repaired all braking components and replaced struts and rear coil overs. Car has been sand blasted underneath where needed and coated with Wurth, the tunnel has been sealed properly and this car has no hell holes. The rest of vehicle has been completely disassembled cleaned, upgraded, lubricated and put back together properly! There are some extras and back up parts such as matched race heads and other hard to find components, distributors/ignition parts and other extras small items such as points, trigger and maintenance electronic items. A mass airflow set up with a few FI back ups. Some extras in the box interior wise are manuals, pieces of a completecarpet set, I say this because the car is bare metal inside temporarily. I Have Most Interior Pieces including speaker boxes with speakers/receiver. I've tried to cross engineer with 911 parts/accessories as I've done with lots of little repairs when possible to get rid of the 914/4 factory issues. I have 914/6 speakerpanels with new speakers inside, everything else inside remains intactand working otherwise. I am currently installing new Dunlop dz 102 tires, no worries folks the rims are rubber coated as is any black paint and can be stripped in minutes.The engine has 911 starter and larger amp alternator + new vacuum kit. Themodifications on the engine side has iteven closer to 100 + HP... This car always holds oilwith no problem, rarely needs topped. Also car remains relatively unmolested inside and out. Most all parts on car are new and German. No Rust in notorious areas nearly free of it.. This car has New Dunlop Tires, aggressive tread and is a solid factory 914 base with 82,000 some odd original miles, I have driven this car on long road trips as far as California and back. Have been hoping to do it again. This car is a warrior and just keeps cavatating like a tank. Also noted, had professional technical help at Auto Atlanta, 914 Limited plus Porsche club. Vehicle is garaged but driven 2/3 a week, miles may be higher at sale.. Please.. contact me with more questions or an offer. I'm just asking for what I have in car.. Nothing more.
