Description of 1972 Porsche 911 T |
|
This is a project US delivery 911T from 1972 with a factory sunroof.The car had been sitting for many years.There is some rust, but not quite as badas it may appear. I believe I took pictures of all my areas of concern. I have more pictures, email me for addition photos. There is rust in the right rear floor in front of swing axle section. I saw no accident repairs. Remaining floor areas and front spare tire area are pretty good, not perfect but better than I anticipated. Both batteries are still in the car, no modifications done to wiring harness I believe the car has 129xxx miles on itA replacement motor was put in the car sometime it its life, the block remains unnumbered.I cleaned the points, put in a good battery and the car spun over, and the engine ran on carburetor cleaner. I did not hear fuel pump running. Clear title in hand. Please ask question ???? The car is at my shop, a lift is availableInspections are encouraged and welcomeWeekend inspections can be accommodated.
