Description of 1975 Porsche 911 Targa |
I started with a 1975 911 Targa from Texas purchased from Collins Bros. Jeep. The body had no rust. A new SC engine from a 1983 911 replaced the 1975 engine. The mechanicals were completely redone including suspension (Bilstein shocks). steering. brake lines. and exhaust. All mechanical work was done by DC Automotive in North Carolina. Custom quarter panels. fenders. rockers. and front/rear bumpers were used to create a wide body Singer tribute. The body panels were purchased from Getty Design. All new seals were purchased from Pelican Parts. Updated Bosch headlights with chrome bezels were placed. 17x11 rear and 17x9 front Custom Zuffenhaus Wheels were added. Michelin Pilot tires were added. Custom Talbott and Company side mirrors were imported from England. Rennline front sway bar was placed. Total custom interior was done. Leather door panels with suede lined door pockets were added. The seats are black leather with houndstooth inserts. Rennline billet accessories were added throughout the interior. New German velour carpeting was used. Chrome gauge bezels were added. A Retrosound bluetooth radio and new speakers were added. A Zuffenhaus RS steering wheel was placed. The targa top was refurbished. Custom bodywork and paint job done by Bump and Grind auto. The fuel door was moved to the bonnet. This car was totally restored to the highest standards. Over $70k invested. Car was appraised by for $75k. Severe leg injury is causing this sale. Car sold as is. no warranties. |
