1983 Porsche 911 rust free southwest car. This car was owned by the previous owner for a little over 20 years and he bought it from a long time owner also from New Mexico. The previous owner loved and drove this car, he was a local lawyer and did his maintenance himself. This 911 SC does have the Carrera tensioners, the turbo valve covers, and the upgraded head studs. The car has been sitting for a couple of years but was fired up regularly. It has a brand new catalytic converter so new it has not even discolored yet, it also passed Albuquerque emissions just a couple months ago, it also comes with a reamed out catalytic converter that bolts right on for a little extra boost. It also has a brand new starter. The compressor is not installed but does come with the car and it does spin although I do not know the condition of it. The sunroof is not opening and the back of the headliner is sagging. The front tires a really dry rotted but hold air. Other than that the car runs, drives and sounds great. It brakes and handlesas a 1980's 911 should, although I think the rear shocks could be swapped out. The car will need a good service but it seems like a great start. The body is super straight, the paint is presentable but at some point it will deserve a paint job. There are various scratches but no real dents, the roof was keyed at some point and the roof paint is spidering. The front seats are covered in sheepskins and the seats underneath are torn at the seams and weathered. The drivers side door panel has shrunk a little and might need to be replaced. The dash is cracked. All in all this is a great car that does need some love but one you could drive and slowly fix up or just drive it as is. Please feel free to ask any questions at anytime and happy bidding. A/c not installed sunroof inop front tires shot
