Description of 1974 Porsche 911 |
Relisting as the previous buyer used an unregistered fake account- For offer again is a 1974 Porsche 911. It has a Renegade Hybrids LS Chevy engine conversion kit, and I currently have an LS-3 in it. If purchased, I will negotiate for the option of leaving the engine in it for an additional $15K, no less. Description of engine is below. I am offering it without the motor and ignition, but the rest of the conversion kit and transmission will stay. This includes the front mounted radiator with 2 electric fans, hoses, adapter plate, etc. I will be leaving in the Porsche 930 4-speed transmission, that has a racing clutch, tho I still drive it on the street on occasion. The body is all GT-Racing fiberglass, except for the factory 'tub'. It has 1974 RSR rear fenders, and a 1981 Kremer Racing front end. Brakes are Brembo Gran Turismo, wheels are 19" Forgeline ZX3R 3-piece. Nitto track/street front tires are 235's, rears are 325's. 8 point roll cage, Cobra drivers seat with slider, Sparco passengers seat, both have new 5 point G-Force belts. NACA duct on passengers side goes to a helmet air blower. All windows are lexan, there are no side windows. Bilstein coil-over shocks with Eibach springs, Carrera axles, rear Weltmeister sway bar, custom Fuel Safe cell, carbon door panels. Front bumper air ducts go to front brakes. Floor and interior are Rhino-coated (think pickup beds). Headliner is carpeted. It has working headlights, taillights, flashers, single wiper, horn, rear turn signals. There are no front turn signals, although the wiring is there. Everything is painted or powder coated. Aftermarket Autometer gauges, no speedometer or parking brake, Tarrett Engineering Shifter. Car is very unique and fun to drive. I proudly cannot say that it has never been tracked. I run the car on road courses, autocross events, and time trials, and anything else that may come up. It has won many show awards, and I still drive it on the street. The wrap will be removed. Under it, the car it is all black, with a white decklid. There are some star cracks in the fiberglass, and the front end has been repaired over the years. The car is far from perfect, and is has some quirks, like closing the doors, but still one-of-a-kind. I am doing this same conversion to a newer model Porsche. Just add an LS engine and GO. Current engine is a Texas Speed & Performance LS-3 short block with Trick Flow GenX 255 Heads, Harland Sharp Roller Rockers, Double roller timing chain, Quick Fuel 750 carburetor, NASCAR spec cam, custom headers, tall valve covers, powdercoated intake. It dynoed at 603 rwhp. I will be leaving my engine in it until sold, so any prospective buyer can see that it runs, if desired. I will then need a little while to remove the engine. Rain cover is included, as well as an uninstalled CoolSuit System. A Porsche engine could also be put back in it. |
