I purchased this project on a whim and couldn't decide if I wanted to finish as a race car or a street RSR. With so many other projects and a new opportunity coming up, I have decided to test the waters here. This is a really good 911 tub that has been in dry storage since at the very least, the early 2000's, but is said to have always been stored indoors. The only rust detected other than light surface rust is the passenger side mounting wing which has some holes in it.
The car comes with many 0 mile expensive high end parts that include:
- Penske double adjustable front and rear coil overs
- ERP front control arms and rear 935 spring plates
- Smart racing front camber boxes (unfinished installation)
- Smart racing through body sway bar
- Tarrett rear sway bar
- Front oil cooler with fittings and lines to engine compartment
- Fiber glass roof (Needs fitting and mounting)
- Brey-Kraus front strut brace
The car also will include the following pictured and not pictured parts:- Full steel non-sunroof coupe roof
- Factory front strut mount sheet metal
- Rear shock cross member
- Axles
- Front and rear aluminum late model brake calipers (pictured at each wheel)
- Front steel hood in excellent condition
- Rear fiberglass engine lid
- Front IROC RSR Fiberglass fenders. (The fenders have had all the hard work done for proper fitment but will need light boxes installed if you want to keep this as an early RSR. You can buy these here: http://www.rennspd.com/P_Detail.asp?PID=954)Front and rear fiberglass bumpers for late look narrow body conversion with a factory center reflector
- Early parts including; head lights, pedal set, front and rear light box housings, chrome horn grills, one painted plastic horn grill, front hood hinges, rear hood hinges, front retractable seat belts (after market?), original S side molding with end caps in well used condition, miscellaneous seals including rear deck lid, front deck lid, new door fuzzies, at least one inner door pull, window cranks with cover, and more that I will add her in blue as I go through my parts. Chrome "RSR" driver door mirror, 915 shifter with shift rod and coupler
Beside the obvious the car will need at minimum the following:- Wiring harness for race or stock build out. (Easy to find original used but available in new original or race configurations through a couple of sources that can be found by searching on the Pelican classified forum)
- Wheels to fit wide body. (The wheels shown are too small and not included. Roller wheels will be included.)
- If keeping the Smart camber boxes you will need to finish the welding
- If you keep the cage it will need to be finished and gone over. I can include the balance of the tubing but you will need to pay the cost of shipping as the tubing is in PA and not with the car.
- Dash Pad (the one shown is a cover)
- Original type brakes or kit to attach included brakes (996?)
Additional Information- If you prefer fiberglass doors new ones can be included in lieu of the steel doors shown. You will need to source hinges for these.
- You can source the rear seat/package tray panel here: http://www.restoration-design.com/store/product/KIT-S3 for $1300 and the fender mounting plate on the same site for $75.00 should you decide to replace these.
- The car is located in Kenilworth, NJ. I will do my best to accommodate those that want to see it.
- Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but I will do my best to assist the buyer and their agent.
- Viewing and / or pickup must be Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
- The car will not be released before your bank check clears.
I have tried my best to accurately describe this 911 but keep in mind this is being sold as is so you should consider coming to see it if you are uncertain.
Good Luck and Happy Bidding!
