I’ve owned this car for over thirty five years and have enjoyed many hours of driving. As I approach eighty the car is used less and less and I believe a car not driven doesn’t do well. The car was restored in the early ’80s. In 2009 the engine was rebuilt by George Nelson (G. N. Engineering) and I upgraded the electrical system to 12 volts. More comfortable seats were also installed. These seats do not fold down and access to the rear seats is very limited. Returning to the original seats should not be difficult. In 1980 all rust had been eliminated. Today there are a few small areas where rust is beginning to show. The body has paint defects in several areas. See photo showing the four worst defects.

The bucket seats currently in car are positioned for 5’ 11” driver. Although the angle of the seat back is adjustable the seat position is not. To make adjustable the seat mount/slides assembly would need to be modified. The operation of the original Porsche seats is unmodified.
This car comes with a Porsche 356 Original Leitz Luggage Rack (see Porsche Luggage Rack listings for description). No straps.
Car wired to accept CTEK Model 3300 trickle charger. Charger provided with car.
