Description of 1967 Replica/Kit Makes Aztec 7 |
Fiberfab AZTEC 7Vintage kit carThis vehicle was purchased a few years ago with the plan to rebuild it as a era correct kit car. When purchased the engine was removed and taken apart by previous owner. it is included in the sale. The IRS trans-axle was still mounted in the chassis. We started by totally disassembling to start from new. After the body was stripped it was discovered the pan was beyond saving. We removed the trans-axle and any usable parts. A reworked titled pan was obtained. The Chassis is titled as a 1967 VW. Clear PA title in hand. it has an IRS rear set up and retains the '67 ball joint front beam. New front Shocks and Steering Tamper were installed on the stripped and repainted front beam. New disc brakes were installed on front and back with new seals. bearings and e-brake cables. I will include any and all parts I have taken off or acquired. I make no guarantee as to the serviceability of the used parts. Fiberglass body is in decent shape. no cracks in body. There is some amount of spider web cracks in gel coat. Body is complete less one headlight cover that blew off going down the road while be trailered home. Front windshield is intact with no cracks or chips. some fogging around the edges does exist. The windshield alone on this car is a rare beast. the originals were the same as a Lamborghini Miura. The back glass is perfect. The side windows on this car are there but are Plexiglas. they did make them in glass as well. All of the components have been and are currently stored indoors since I have owned it. This is for sale without shipping. must be picked up in Airville PA 17302. Too many pieces to even start to think about shipping it. $ 500 deposit and conclusion of bidding and balance cash on pick up. This is a reluctant sale. I have lost my storage space and no longer have the funds or time to complete. Email with any questions you may have. The pictures show the assembled car as we picked it up. the rest of the pictures are of the chassis as it sits today |
