In about 2010 the car received an all-encompassing, round-up restoration, ith European specialist Igor Boun of Northern California carrying out the high-quality paint and bodywork. The Wagons exterior sports a Mercedes-Benz code, eep wine metallic finish and the interior has been redone in Palomino MB-Tex weave with bamboo rattan pattern accents in the cargo area.The V-4 engine has been rebuilt; the transmission seals, askets, nd bearings were replaced as needed. All front-end components and bushings were also replaced, nd the front and rear brakes feature new rotors, ads, heel cylinders, nd calipers. The carburetor, iper motor, rake and clutch master cylinders, tarter, lternator, ater pump, teering rack, nd CV joints were also rebuilt. To complete the look, AAB Sonett soccer ball alloy sports wheels were added, eaturing body-color inserts and polished details. Period whitewall radials add to the 95 Wagons deluxe, intage look. This car presents virtually flawlessly, ith every conceivable aspect of renewal having been addressed during its nut-and-bolt restoration.
