Description of 1992 Saab 900

For sale is this 1992 900s sedan. Thiscar is 100% rust free. It was bought new in Dallas TX by a Delta airlines pilotand looks like it was well cared for. At this point pretty mucheverything on this car has been replaced except for the engine and transmissionitself.

    Items Replaced:

-New rebuilt rack and pinion, new PS pump, all new lines forPS system.

-New upper and lower ball joints as well as new tie rod endswheel bearings, front and rear, and new cv axles.

-Brakes are all new minus the master cylinder; new flexlines, calipers, cross drilled rotors ceramic pads.

    -On the engine side:

    -Fresh oil change, Amsoil,

-Completely new ignition system: plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, ignition amplifier, crank position sensor, O2 sensor.

-Fuel system and delivery: new used fuel tank, clean andcrack free, new fuel pump and filter, new fuel pressure regulator, new BOSCHrebuilt injectors and a new MAF sensor.

-Other Engine related: new harmonic balancer, newalternator, new water pump, oil pump o-ring and crank seal replaced. Newbattery, and a new AC compressor.

-Other: All lights have been converted to LED and a newdigital turn signal relay has been installed.. The stereo deck itself does notgo with the car but I am happy to install any stereo you bring with you. Theprevious owner had Best Buy install a Sony tape deck in the car 20-25 years agoso the factory harness is not there anymore. The car also has brand new tiresless than 1000 miles.

-The only issue with this car is there seems to be a vacuum leakor a wire that is breaking down somewhere that I have not been able toidentify. The car starts right up and idles smoothly but there is a stumbleupon acceleration. The engine has good compression and does run,no leaks and no blown head gasket. Timing chain is good and tight, I replacedthe valve cover gaskets and inspected the chain at that time.

-The Automatic Transmission shifts smoothly and does notslip jerk or have any issues of any kind.

-The Body is pretty straight for a 30 year old car, there is a shallow dent in the passenger siderear door, and the clear coat has faded onthat same door. Otherwise the car is invery nice shape.

-Interior is clean, the headliner is in great shape, thedash only has 2 small cracks and the leather is not dried out. The stitching on the drivers seat will needto be repaired but the leather itself is in good shape, the stitching holes are not ripped.

The carhandles like a new car after all the work and I really hate to see this one gobut with the last 3 Saab mechanics in the area deciding they no longer wish towork on classic Saabs I feel there is a lack of support in the area when I needit. As such I have decided my longhistory of owning and driving these 900’s has come to an end.
