Click images to enlarge Description 1967 Shelby GT350. #67201F4A02004.Listed on behalf of Monte Shelton. Located in PORTLAND, OREGON. This GT350 Mustang was modifed by Shelby in April of 1967. Originally ordered without stripes and with FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING. Purchased by the most recent owner in 1990 at a Mustang Roundup meet in Bellevue, Washington; at the time this was an unrestored, original car with approximately 48,000 miles. At the 1992 SAAC National Meet at Portland (Oregon) International Raceway, Carroll Shelby attended and ran laps in a Cobra with this car. A photo was taken at PIR turn #9 with the GT350 leading Shelby and the Cobra (see last photo in this listing.) Following the run, Carroll Shelby came to the pits and personally inspected the car, verifying its authenticity and signing the inside rear-view mirror, along with later signing photos of the car on the track. This car is listed on page 483 of the SAAC Shelby Registry book. All tags and stampings are intact and original. The provenance is impeccable. Several years after the Portland SAAC Meet, the owner set out on a meticulous frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration of this car to show standards, using all authentic NOS parts. He lavished hundreds of hours to bring this car back to showroom condition. No corners were cut and no expense was spared. The original 289 V8 engine and components, 4-speed transmission and suspension were completely rebuilt to spec. The body was stripped and painted in correct "Wimbledon White" and left without stripes, as original. All chrome was replated. The original wheels were fitted with new tires. Interior correctly restored. The result is spectacular. Please see photos of the quality of this restoration. Subsequently this Shelby has been shown at the Portland Roadster Show and Forest Grove Concours d'Elegance where it received First Place awards at both events. Mechanically, this Shelby is excellent. Runs, shifts, drives and stops as it should. A real pleasure to drive and yes, it's FAST. Since completion it has seen limited use and now shows just 48,575 total miles on the odometer. Recently the owner unexpectedly passed away after 27 years of ownership and this Shelby is now being offered for sale. It would be the centerpiece of any serious collection. A realistic reserve has been placed on this car in keeping with its quality and rarity. Please bid accordingly. WE WILL HAPPILY SELL TO BIDDERS WORLDWIDE. Thanks for looking and GOOD LUCK!
