The kit market is a stellar way to enter into the specialty market of select vehicles without the huge price tag and ownership cost. These Cobra replicas are so much fun and provide a huge upside for the owner. The ability to customize the vehicle how you want it and swap out parts and drivetrains make these an endless dream. The Factory Five Company based out of Wareham, MA is regarded as one of the top kits on the market... and a long proven track history. This build started in 2002 with Terry Pitt out of Brighton MI making his order to the Factory Five Company to start his build process. Vehicle was completed around 2004 with a great stance and powerful V8 setup. The donor car was from a 1991 Mustang 5.0L and according to previous owner was in great shape mechanically. Engine, drivetrain, transmission and some suspension components were used to install on this build. All new parts for hardware, body, interior and gauges were sourced from Factory Five or similar shop. Vehicle fires up nicely and hustles through all 5 gears and easily engages into reverse. The acceleration and braking are remarkable and the exhaust sound is the best part. Vehicle has remained with only two previous owners since new and well cared for its entire history. Vehicle comes along with a stack of receipts from the build and maintenance history along with many articles of the Factory Five Company, Factory Five assembly manual, Factory Five brochures and catalog, and many pictures of the build process. Vehicle shows well and it is evident that both owners adored this car and kept it in a fine tuned state at all times. The turn key fuel injection from the Cobra Mustang fires up with strength. Vehicle features the side glass wings, 17in chrome 5-spoke wheel, powder coated roll cage and side pipes, front and rear jack bumpers, Simpson racing belts, carbon rear rock guards, BBK PowerPlus intake and injector.
