The Shelby Cobra needs no special introduction, that is why there is a myriad of different companies trying to replicate this special and historical automobile. E.R.A. is one of the elder replicas out there and that is why they have been named "The Best Replica" by SAAC for fifteen years. Of course they build the Monster 427 version but its there 289 FIA cars that stand out from the rest. Sure the 427 is fun for the track and extremely... fast, However for street use, they are just not that comfortable. Not to mention, the original Cobras were exactly this, a small block with good brakes. This special car is in great driver quality condition. The original owner had this car build for his home in Hawaii and ordered it with out top or side curtains. This is a two-owner car with the second owner removing the bumpers, mirrors and roll cage to make it more of a exact match of what they used to look like. This is a bare bones, no chrome or stripes car that true enthusiasts fine very appealing. This car has been enjoyed but never abused and never used on a track. It comes complete with its full owners manual, roll cage, mirrors and wipers. This car starts with the snap of the key and idles perfectly. This FIA 289 has front disc with Jaguar inboard rear disc brakes. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and goes down the road perfectly. It is titled as a 2006 when it was built, has a clear MI title and is ready to be driven and enjoyed as well as admired. To build this car today would cost near $90,000.00
