1964 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk 2-Dr. HardtopVin# 64V16849 – Jet green with matching green interior – Automatic - Original Sticker The final year for this classic Studebaker Hawk. This is one of the rarest cars in Studebaker history. She was restored in 2008 289hp R-2 Avanti supercharged engine, automatic, power steering and Power Brakes, sway bars, traction bars, factory tachometer, 160-mph speedometer. The VIN indicates this Hawk started with a 259/180hp engine. Paint is very good. Panel gaps are consistent. Engine and underneath very clean and correct. Interior in extremely good condition. An excellent show car. – Reportedly 1 of 12 “non-package” R-2 Hawks from 1964, Studebaker’s last year even though the R-2 Avanti engine should have carried an R in the VIN’s third position.
