This 1992 Subaru Libero is a left-hand drive European market car that was recently purchased by us in Europe and imported to the US. About 50km have been added since, and a tune-up was also conducted for the 1.2L rear-mounted inline-three. The van is equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and push-button four-wheel drive with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Features include period 4WD/Subaru graphics, a sunroof, sliding doors, and gray houndstooth seating. This 4WD Subaru Van is now sold with a... clean Pennsylvania title. These vans are based on the Subaru Sambar and were badged as a Libero for the European market. Larger bumpers out-classed it from Kei car sizing regulations, 1200cc engine options was top of the line model. All van-body examples were sold with the high roof seen here and this one featuring crystal lite roof, along with a big sunroof. Features include dual sliding doors with sliding windows and a spacious floor-to-ceiling hatch. The five-digit odometer shows 22K kilometers (14k miles), and other instrumentation includes a 140 km/h speedometer. A 4WD logo illuminates on the dash when the system is engaged via the red push-button on the shifter. The greenhouse features sliding windows in the side doors, a sunroof, and a crystal lite roof. First-generation four-wheel drive examples were only sold in Japan and Europe with a 5-speed, while the second-generation cars were equipped with a CVT-type transaxle.
