Description of 1965 Toyota Tiara Tiara

1965 Toyota Tiara

WE Market our vehicles I think BETTER then anyone else's on ebay.
The most HONEST PICS available and description. Ive seen other sellers ads
and pics, nd I find it hard to believe people even bid on some cars .
UP FOR AUCTION: this is what we know about the car below.
SUPER LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
MILEAGE on the odometer shows 49904.9 and knowing the cars history
these very well could be the original miles on the car.
Check out the cars lines, rom a few angles this car looks similar to a few
American Classics from around the same era. I dont see any harm in that
as we all know that Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
This car was last registered in aprox the late 70s !! Its been in a barn since
for the most part of its recent life in a small town outside Tucson in a very
dry climate. For the most part, t seems very complete only missing a few
pieces of trim around the car . Paint or whats left of it looks to be original.
The body is almost totally rust free, ther then some surface rust I couldnt
find any true rot like most this old are plagued with.
With out doubt, his car needs a full restoration to be a show car, ut maybe
you dont want a show car. Patina is in huge right now and so are survivor cars.
So maybe you restore the drivetrain, ome of the interior and leave the rest ???
Keep the patina and dont overspend on the restoration, eeping the budget
reasonable and in the end, ou have a car chances are, ou wont see at another
event (unless its an ALL TOYOTA CAR SHOW, ut even then, hat are the chances)
From what I gather, nly a few hundred of these cars came to the USA in 1965.
OPTION 2: keep the same theme as Option 1, ut maybe do a modern motor-swap
in it and really do something wild. Imagine pulling up to a light with this patina
beater Toyota and beating the pants off the Camaro that was next to you ! haha.
There is a good chance this car may be sent back to JAPAN and if you need help
getting it back there, e can at least help get it to the shipping docks in Long Beach
or LA CALIF area. for a fair price. Getting it across the pond is up to the Winner if
thats where its going.
BEFORE the Crown and Corona there was the Tiara
and very few of these, bout a 250 only made it to US Soil in 1965
There are probably a handful left out there . Very Low VIN production # too.

DRIVETRAIN:
the original drivetrain is about 90% complete from front to back. Small misc
items missing under the hood, ut very little. Motor turns over by hand and
the car ran and drove fine when it was parked in the 70s. I plan on hot wiring
the car this week (No keys around) and pouring some gas down the carb just
to see how well the motor runs. The brake are no working from sitting so long.
Manual transmission, ts either a 3 or 4 speed on the tree.
very rare and cool 1.9L 4 cyl 3R-B

INTERIOR:
the original color looks to have been blue, s very sun beat and do I dare say trashed
but again, ts mostly complete, andles etc and looks like it would be restorable with
a fair amt of work and money. Ive pulled up the carpets both front and rear to check
for rust and seeing as the car was inside parked most of its life, found no rust on the
floors either inside or under the car as well. Thanks Az Climate :) Check out some of
the pics we post near the bottom how the car was found after almost 40 yrs.
Driver side REAR Door GLASS WINDOW is MISSING / Gone..... rest of the glass looks to be okay .

EXTERIOR: the car looks to be wearing whats left of the original paint code
403 Ivory. The body for its age, s pretty straight. Youll be able to see in the pics
below some damage to the RF fender and hood area. Both look repairable keeping
the original sheetmetal. Grill got some damage too which should be repairable.
Taillight lenses are missing obviously and rear bumper has a small tweek in it.
Keep in mind, ts a 50+ yrs old NON RESTORED BARN FIND CAR !!
I could find NO evidence of any previous repairs or bondo on the body anywhere
making a full restoration on this car much more attractive if it came down to it.
BEING AN AZ CAR, COULD SEE NO TRACE OF ANY RUST OR RUST REPAIRS.
This is what we call a TYPICAL ARIZONA DESERT CAR !! / Survivor car

SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension the best I can tell
Im sure most of the bushings are dry out, ut being a minimal rust car
it would come apart easier then a rust bucket and making the repairs
and restoration in its future again, ore attractive. The car really doenst have
alot of miles on it, or does the suspension. Much of it is just dry rotted.
TIRES ON THE CAR ARE BAKED !! Ill have 4 roller tires on the car before the
auction ends and its time to move unless I just cant find any used 13" tires.
Wheels are 5 lug, hats pretty cool.

Check out ALL the pics below ----->
If you see other auctions are not showing areas under their cars,
who really knows what sort of shape its in. Dont find out
the hard and $$ way. At least our auctions show as much
as possible to potential buyers and bidders. Its amazing to
see other auctions with small dark pics, cant imagine trying
to bid on a car without seeing pics like we do in our auctions.

it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, o be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are OVER 100 large pics below !!
very well could be a matching #s engine
A few extra parts that come with the car
This is the same car once pulled out of the garage/barn
2 pics below are how the car was found outside Tucson
