This is a rare, custom 1965 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45 3/4 ton pickup. This frame-off restoration includes detailed sand blasting and Rhino lining rust inhibitors throughout the frame, bed, cab, fenders and engine compartment. The powertrain was replaced with a General Motors crated 350cid V8. It uses a Corvette induction intake with port fuel injection. It sports a 700R4 GM automatic transmission with a 4-speed overdrive. This long bed truck was customized in length and has the original 4.11 gearing for both front and rear differentials. It also includes safety features like a fuel cell for gas and 4-wheel disc brakes. Every detail was addressed down to an all-new complete wiring kit, air conditioning kit with Harrison GM compressor and custom dual electric cooling fans with a super flow radiator. Creature comforts inside include custom push-button start, high grade multiple position bucket seats and matching headliner. Also inside are professional gauges, shifter, steering column and wheel. This power machine rides on 33" tires with a 2" aluminum block lift. The paintwork is factory Toyota OEM two-tone paint of silver and pewter metallic. Countless hours and expense were put into this truck down to every hinge, nut and bolt. It is a dream to drive with its new-found power and old school charm. It has the factory stock unboltable convertible top and approx. 5100 miles on the engine.
