Although there are no documents to prove this claim this truck speaks for itself and is in very good condition overall. The quality of the metal throughoutthe vehicle sets itself apart from the pack. There are no signs of rust on the structural body components. See how clean the rear platform is below the ambulance doors and the door jams? See additional photos to see how clean theundercarriage is. That being said this truck is not a trailer queen. This is one that you can load the dog in the back with the fishing poles and enjoy a very stylish outing. That is the appeal with this FJ40. It has just a few exterior scrapes and small dings allowing you to shop easy with this rig in the grocery store parking lot. Not only does it have the more powerful 2F 4.2 inline six cylinder engine with a comfortable 4 speed manual transmission but it has the user friendlyrear ambulance doors. This year alsohas the factory disc brakes. All of this sets you up for a great driving and ownership experience. The interior is very original. The gauge cluster not only functions, it lights up at night. The vehicle has seen the addition of a more sturdy roll cage and a nice rear bench seat. The vehicle is equipped with seat belts to keep you and your passengers safe. In addition the truck has brand new all terrain tires. The paint is older but of good quality. The hard top is removable should you choose. On that note, when choosing an FJ40 run your finger in the rain gutter along the roof. If you can’t feel the factory rivets something is wrong. This truck has seen a repaint however great attention was given. You can feel the rivets on thetop’s rain gutter and it is clean and free of any bondo. All of the glass is clean and fee of any cracks. The window regulators and locks function as they should. These vehicles are simple creatures.
