Description of 1987 Toyota Supra TURBO |
Classic 1987 Turbo Toyota Supra. 30 Year Anniversary! Only 6000 miles on brand new engine!! Professionally installed; over $8000 in receipts! 7M-GTE Turbo Straight Six Engine Nadaguides shows a high value of $12,600, an average of $8,650 and low value of $5,325; value will only go up. I had a whole new engine put in car, block, head, radiator, hoses, wires, alternator, battery, etc. See pictures. Also had new brakes, pads and rotors all around and I also upgraded to an electric radiator fan to improve cooling, power and fuel efficienty. I have over $10,000 invested. This car is difficult to find in this good of condition. It is all original with exception of an aftermarket electric radiator fan. Stock wheels, radio, etc. The body is in good condition for its age, there is paint fade and a handful of nicks, dings and scratches throughout (as to be expected with a car that is 30 years old), but there is NO major body damage anywhere. Leather could be redone inside, although it has some decent looking seat covers and new leather on the center console and e-brake. Overall the car is very solid and sound mechanically. Basically everything that needed to be done mechanically has been done, with the exception of the suspension, which is still original. This car has the potential to be a show quality car with basically just cosmetic work at this point. I have the original owners manual, owners guide, sales brochure (see pic,) and the original window sticker, and tool kit. I've really enjoyed having and driving this car, it's very quick, handles well and very fun to drive. All work was done by a certified and experienced Toyota mechanic; I can give you their info if you are interested. The odomoter showed 174,000 miles when I put the new engine in and I'm just a little under 180,000 now, but I do drive it once or twice a week, so it will probably have a little more than that by the time it sells. Minor Issues: Features: New Parts: Fun to drive! Thanks! |
