This is a 1988 Toyota Pickup equipped with a five speed transmission, four wheel drive and a 22RE (fuel injected), four cylinder motor. The vehicle starts up and runs good. The transmission shifts out as it should and has a new Aisin clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. The factory a/c is present, but does not currently work. I never looked in to why it isn't working so it could be something as simple as a recharge or it could need something more. The heat does work, but has to be manually adjusted at the firewall since the heater control valve is frozen. I do have a new factory Toyota part that will come with the truck to repair this. There is no radio installed and the clock is not currently working. The driver's interior door handle is worn which can be seen in the pictures. The dash has a crack which can be seen in the pictures. I removed the worn carpet when I got the truck and found to spots of rust where the carpet held water. I do have the carpet if you want to clean and reinstall. Neither spots are rusted through, only surface rust. The driver's door mirror is missing, but these can be had for about $20.00 on ebay. The worst rust is around the windshield frame where the notorious chrome trim sat. As you can see, it really did a number holding dirt, leaves, and moisture. There is no rust-through in this area, but there is heavy rust scale that needs to be cleaned up and treated to prevent further issues. It does leak in this area. The body of the truck is straight except for one indentation in the driver's door which I tried to show in one of the pictures. The tailgate is difficult to open at times and has dings and dents. There is no bed rust on the seams which is common on these. The paint on the bed has thinned down to the primer, but the cab paint has held up with spots of surface rust giving it a nice patina in my opinion. The mud tires hold air and serve their purpose, but do ride rough. The chassis is clean with no rot. The engine compartment could use a good detailing. I started cleaning as I had the time, but didn't get far. I wouldn't hesitate to get in the truck and drive cross country, but it is a 30 year old truck that will have issues arise so please keep this in mind when forming any expectations about the truck. The truck is being sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. I have tried my best to cover everything, but if you have any specific questions, please message me. Now is the time to ask questions and be satisfied, not after you place the winning bid or the best offer is accepted. A $500.00 deposit is required upon purchase within 24 hours via paypal and the balance is to be paid with cash or a certified cashier's check when the truck is picked up. If you have zero or negative feedback, please don't bid as these listings cost money and time, neither of which I have to waste. Your bid will be cancelled and blocked if you bid. Please be respectful of that.
