1986 Toyota Van Wagon Camper
A flash to the past-1986 Toyota Van Wagon "Space Cruiser"! ALL original decals and paint, still holds a shine! This van has been a great camper and runs-drives like a sewing machine with low 130,500 original miles. Always adult own, garaged, and well serviced. 3rd owner since new, spent most of its life in TN (Greenville, Afton, and Chuckey), and then moved to our new home in Wilmington, NC. No rust to mention, just a few areas where the paint gel coat is starting to fade.
Mechanical Details: This 86 Toyota Van is equipped with the reliable 4YE Toyota 4 cylinder engine combined with the automatic 5 speed transmission.Shift through all the gears with ease including reverse and recently tune up includes:10/2018 New performance spark plugs and wires, fresh synthetic blend oil/filter change, and brand new shocks all the way around. Super reliable for around town and long distance camping trips. The brakes stop on a dime and were serviced 8 months ago. Upgraded black performance rims and brand new tires all the way around.
The Interior:This van has both AC and Heat in great working order. Upgraded Clarion CD/Radio 52w per channel sound system along with newer speakers. Camper model: rear seat folds down flat into bedding area. Storage in the back for packing away camping gear and essentials. Overhead LED lighting, new carpeting and panels for a fresh new look.
The Exterior:Excellent condition for its age and all original decals and emblems. Solid as a rock frame and panels all the way around. A true surviver and a joy to drive around. Cool in the summer because of the light color white exterior and windows have a slight tinting. Toyotavan rear ladder and factory racks. All lights and blinkers work as they should. Factory tool kit and original spare tire. This van has spent most of it life a garage rather than outside in the elements.
