Description of 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser |
Just in at Thin Line Offroad in East China, Michigan. Please read the entire description before bidding or asking questions. 1971 Toyota FJ55 Landcruiser "Iron Pig" If you are checking this auction out you probably know what you are looking at. The 55 series Landcruiser is one of the most iconic Toyotas ever built, and the market for them is currently extremely hot. Before we start off, this particular unit is very rusty. There is rust through on every panel somewhere. With that being said, there are also many great things about this vehicle. There is no Buy it Now, you must bid to win. We are not selling parts from this FJ55 but we have other FJ55, FJ40, FJ45, FJ60 and FJ62 parts in stock so feel free to contact us with your needs. To start off with, it has 66,000 original miles. Originally purchased by a farmer in northern Canada, he used it almost exclusively local until the mid 1980's when the water pump developed a leak. At that time he parked it until we purchased it and went through the process of legally importing it to the United States. It is now titled with a clear Michigan title. We specialize in Land Cruiser parts and vintage Toyotas, and this vehicle appears to be nearly 100 percent original and complete. We decided before parting this one out, to offer it complete, in the hopes that maybe someone has the desire to bring it back themselves, or at least use it as a parts rig to put theirs back to original. Some excellent rare parts on the truck are the rear hubcaps and factory radio. Both are very difficult to find these days. The truck does roll and steer, and loads easily onto a trailer. The engine is currently stuck, we poured some trans fluid in the cylinders, so it may break free soon. Bids are a binding contract. We do not cancel bids for you or cancel purchases after the auction ends. The vehicle must be paid for IN FULL within 72 hours of auction end. Customer has 30 days to pick up the vehicle in East China, Michigan. After 30 days we reserve the right to resell with no refunds being made. Vehicle is sold AS IS WHERE IS. Delivery is possible for a fee, please contact us for a quote. Thank you, Keith at Thin Line Offroad |
