Description of 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser

Relisted. .... At this price, shipping should not be a problem. That was my #1 question. I believe at this price it is a bargain considering.
100 percent original to the best of my knowledge with the exception of new rear brakes, and a new radiator, and a new exhaust a few years back . Not sure if the front winch is original. All lights, dash instrument, floor mats, even the original AM radio works. Not often FJ55 are this original, and in decent shape. Rear window motor works fine. Some of the rubber cold be replaced. Tires about 80% life left.
Being a 78 model it has 4.2 liter 2F engine, front disk brakes and is a four speed. This was only offered in 75-79 model years, and make the FJ more street friendly for sure.
It has had work done on the wheel wells, rear gate, and a few other minor areas. The driver side floor board was repaired as well. It was originally red, but is now done in a flat blue and white. The FJ comes with the new paint codes and paint for touch ups. The paint is decent, but not pristine. I think it suits the rig, but it would not win at a car show. The original seat cover is also included but not pictured.
Prior to my ownership it lived the majority of it's life at a cottage in Northern Saskatchewan, and garaged there in the off season. Hence the reason it survived so well.
Would be a good candidate to restore, as all the parts are there and working, and in good shape, or just keep driving. The carburetors needs tweaking every once and a while. Starts quickly.
The interior is amazing. All original paint inside, and in really good condition. The truck runs fine, and I have used it weekly to run errands in town.I added the Toyota roof rack
Has had a recent Nova Scotia safety inspection, and passed. These inspections are stringent, and validate the vehicle road worthiness and safety. there are difficult to obtain on older vehicles. The sticker of validation is in the window!
I will help shipping on my end.
