Description of 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser

This is a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser . Condition is Used.

Its the same length as anfj-43 but with the Toyota Diesel engine. Diesel is the way to go. This truckstarts every time, no matter how long itâ€™s been sitting. It never runs hot evenin the middle of Houston summers and it has a lot of low rpm torque so itdoesnâ€™t stall out as easily as a gas fj (in case itâ€™s been a while since youhave driven a manual). Diesels donâ€™t rely on the truckâ€™s electrical system tostay running so if you ever have a bad wire somewhere youâ€™ll still make ithome. Finally the old Toyota diesel is known to be bulletproof and it soundsgreat.

Thespeedometer does not work so I am unsure of the total mileage but compressionon the engine is good and I have the tools to demonstrate that for you. Neverfails to start. It is set up for power steering but there is a leak at the existing box so the power steering is not great. It will come with a spare toyota power steering box that I purchased but never got around to installing.

Body andinterior of the truck is in good shape. Not show quality but definitely adriver, maybe too nice for any serious off-roading. Soft tops are easy to comeby if you want to switch it out.
