I purchased this car as a project for my son's sixteenth birthday after acquiring parts for over 3 years to make it complete. It had a broken passenger front strut/ tower and spindle and literally no interior. As there is no after market for vintage Japanese, it was quite a challenge to chase down these parts to make her a running, driving vehicle. Completely reupholstered/foamed and strapped all seats. Correct OEM door cards, console, and overhead console, new headliner and visors, bone stock OEM with exception of wheels (American Racing) with Falkens ( good rubber). Clean and clear title.Half way through I found a better example ( a car from the south) and restored it for my son. This car runs, drives, shifts, stops and everything works. It has rust in typical areas: lower fenders, leading edge of hood, next to gas cap. No galvanizing on 70's Toyotas. Reasonable reserve. Could part it out but that would be a shame. I would like to see it go to a fellow enthusiast. $500 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of end of auction. Please do not bid if you dont have the financial means to complete the transaction. Understand that this is a 45 year old vehicle with wear and tear commensurate to age. A very nice, complete example for which you don't have to go hunting for parts. Would appreciate arrangements for shipping to be made within two weeks of auction close. I will help coordinate to meet shipper. Shipping expense is sold responsibility of buyer.
