Up for sale is my 1961 Triumph Herald convertible. I owned it for the past 3 years. This is a very rare car as it is an early model. Triumph introduced the Herald in 1959. Per the commission Number Y15184 LCV, he car car be traced to a manufacturing date of July 1960 and titled as a 1961. It has a 948cc engine with dual SU carburetors and a 4 speed manual transmission. I drive this car around town and consider it in driver quality condition. It is not a fast car and is far from perfect, ut a blast to drive and a real head turner! The car was repainted from tan to red around 1970. The paint still shines, ut has some scratches. I have not found any bondo on the car. The seats are original. New carpet as of this past summer. The engine runs well and does not smoke. The brakes were recently redone as well as the clutch and new shifter bushings. New water pump (heater core is bypassed). New electric fuel pump. Gas tank is clean. New NOS rear muffler. Good tires and new repro hubcaps. This is a great piece of Triumph history. As original and complete as you will find. Please ask questions and happy bidding!
