This bus was originally imported to Costa Rica from Germany. I bought it there and had the the body work, ew paint and interior redone in Costa Rica then shipped it to Jacksonville, lorida. All the mechanical work has been done in Florida. The engine has been partially rebuilt, n after market single carburetor was added, he brakes and master cylinder are new and I just replaced the clutch. The steering is tight but the shifting linkage is a little loose but works OK. It has a sunroof that rolls back into the rear roof but it does not work. The wheels on the bus now are 16" Mercedes rims but I have the original rims and hubcaps. There is some rust coming through the body work but this bus has been my main transportation for surfing and going to the beach for the past 8 years. I hate to sell it but I can no longer afford the luxury of a cool surf mobile.
