Let us all hop into Mr. Peabody's Way Back Time Machine to the hair-band 1980's where this was the dream car of every cheerleader (and secretly a few quarterbacks) from Malibu to Key West! Are you ready to let out your inner Barbie in a rare triple-white man mobile? This is a super fun 1992 VW Rabbit Cabriolet Convertible that has only 109,800 miles on it. The 1979-1993 A1/MK1 chassis has recently been named one of the most fun cars ever made and it also gets great gas mileage too! This is the last of the evolution of the A1 Rabbit cabriolet and features a few nice upgrades from the earlier editions.. It has the 94 BHP 1.8L Digifant fuel injection system which is more reliable compared to the CIS and CIS-E found in the earlier models and also has an airbag on the driver side as well as a great roll-bar for safety and the third brake light. The 1988-1993 clipper body kit with the quad headlight design makes for much better visibility at night. The front windows are power and the rear windows are manual. The floor pans and strut towers are rust-free which is usually the downfall of these cars. The manual roof is in nice shape with only a few wear marks. The car has a windshield that is cracked. This triple-white rabbit cabriolet has good rubber on the rare 14" alloy wheels that were only used in 92/93 and were usually only found on the classic edition in 1993. The car suspension brakes and clutch all seem fine and the car has the usual vague shifter that is typical of these cars. The rear back glass has a defroster and this FWD car is a champ in all weather conditions. I have owned over 20 of these in my life and this one is ready to improve your smiles per gallon ratio. The car has no radio as seen in the pics but who cares when a car is this much fun? This car has the white boot cover that goes over the top when it is down as well as the retro cassette holder in the center console. This can be removed for extra storage in front of the shifter. Although this car does not have a radio it does have the updated speaker system which is 5 1/4" in the door with tweeters as well as the 4x6 speakers in the rear. This rabbit is also rocking the red trimmed front grille that is in excellent shape and is an upgrade from the mk2 GTI and looks awesome. This car is putting out excellent voltage from the electrical system as well as great oil pressure. The front seats are in decent shape as can be seen but the rears are super! She screams for a set of Hawaiian seat covers! If you have never owned a rabbit cabriolet be prepared for lots of waves as you let your hair blow in the wind with a huge smile across your face. The 1.8 motor loves to rev all the way to red-line and scoots down the highway with ease all while getting 28-35 MPG in your own personal street legal "go-cart." The top down in winter is such a fun habit when your cute little ride is a Volkswagen Rabbit. The prices for these retro rides has shot through the roof in recent years and will only continue to increase as time goes on. Feel free to make an offer and ask any questions that you might have. Thanks.
