1971 VW Kharmann Ghia Convertible - Great Potential NO RESERVE

The brakes were just totally replaced, ew front rotors, alipers, ew rear brakes including all the hardware, ll brake lines and hoses were replaced, aster cylinder was replaced, rake pedal assembly was bead blasted and painted, and brake assembly was bead blasted and painted, mergency brake cables were replaced.

All new fuel lines, as tank, ntire fuel system was overhauled.

New shocks, teering damper.

With the engine that is currently in the car it runs and drives perfectly. I do have an engine I can include in the sale, t wont be installed in the car, t's a good 1600 dual port out of a 70 beetle.

As you can see from the pictures the body has rust in the usual places. The body work done by the previous owner wasn't done correctly but he did use american made still replacement panels. I also have American made replacement panels for most of the areas that need to be fixed. These panels are heavy gauge steel, ot the Brazilian type.

I have the VW caps for the wheels, ires are in good condition.

Recently purchased a nice tonneau cover that I did not install.

The top needs to be replaced, believe I know someone who has a complete top including the frame. I can put you in touch with that person. I do have the frame which is included in the deal

The interior is really nice considering it sat for so long, he radio is AM/FM/SW

The car needs work underneath and I don't have the time or the resources to deal with it. I currently have a 71 Westy (75% done, 7 Barracuda Convertible (95% done), 6 Mustang Convertible(30% done) something has to go, oo many projects..

I have added a picture of the engine that will be included in the sale, t will not be installed in the car. The engine was a running engine when it was taken out of a car years ago. I believe I have a carb for the engine.

I have some additional pictures of the tonneau cover, just got it about 3 weeks ago. Its not installed on the car, ts really nice, an in color. I also put the VW wheel caps and black lug nut covers on the car. I have reached the max limit on pictures so if you email me I will send you pictures.
I will probably take it for a ride today down the jersey shore, am open to offers with leaving the engine in the car. Let me know if you have any questions.
