Description of 1969 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

'69 Bug in good condition. Everything works (most of the time!) and the body is straight with no rust. Unknown mileage on body, ut engine is aftermarket 2110 cc with fairly low miles - I'd say less than 10,000 but I cannot document that. It has dual Webers on it and it pulls STRONG. It's in the 100 to 120 HP range. Will do 70 on the freeway all day long. I recently drove it on a 300 mile road trip - it loves to run.
Front end is lowered with drop spindles, ack end is stock. Front tires are 165/15 and backs are 70 series 15. Rubber is like new with full tread all around. Rear wheels are built out to 6" wide, ront wheels stock. Interior stock except for and 8 ball shift knob. There's a tear in the headliner. No rust under the back seat.
Paint is well Patina'd. Started as a red car but is more of an red/orange now with wear through to the primer in places.
I've owned this car about 3 years and in that time it's never let me down and never stranded me. But I've moved to a place with limited parking, nd of all our vehicles it's the one I'm letting go.
