Here we have a1990 Volkswagen Vanagon WestphaliaCampmobile, n excellent condition. This 2 owner local Westy is in excellent condition! This vanwas originally bought just outside Knoxville Tn. in Morristown Tn. by a VW dealerTechnician. The exterior is Pastel White and in great condition with no major rust. It does have light lower seam rust on the drivers side which has been caused from being stored outside in just the right position to affect this area (please see picture).There is zero undercarriage rust which is normal for vehicles in the Southeast which can also be seen in the pictures. This van came from the factory with the five spoke alloy wheel option, nd the 3-speed automatic transmission. Mechanically the van is in great shape with all documented history being present from day one. This van was maintained byboth owners with no expense spared! When we received this van at our shop we completed a fullmechanical inspection. The only thing this van showed from our inspection was that it needed a new AC compressor which we replaced and the van now has ice cold air!Everything electrical on this van works as it should including all lights, ower windows, ink, efrigerator etc. All camping equipment has been inspected and is in good working order. This includes the sink and onboard water system, as stove top, nd refrigerator that works off shore power and propane as it should. The interior is smoke free and very clean with no major wear or staining. The canvas top is in good shape but is getting a little thin on the back edge which can be seen in the pictures.All four tires match and have the proper load rating to keep this van driving as it was intended from the factory. They have roughly 8/32nds in the front and 6/32nds in therear and are free of dry rot and flat spots. This van drives well down the road with plenty of power with no vibrations or pulling. The brakes feel great and the transmission shifts smoothly as it should.
Inside we have grey velour, ith front swivel seats, inted glass, nd folding rear bench seat. Some of the options inside are power doors, ower locks, M/FM stereo cassette radio, nd cruise control with resume feature. A 12v outlet is also in the front dash. The stove, efrigerator, nd sink all work great. The fabric is free from any rips or tears, nd is in good visual shape as well. All of the surfaces have been treated with care and have to been ripped or worn down. The drawers and doors for the storage areas are still very smooth. With the top up, t has two double sized beds that are ready for use.
You will be hard pressed to find a nicer van and this Vanagon will not last long so do not hesitate to come take a look or call with any questions.You will be able to take delivery of this van and immediately start enjoying the joys of off grid camping! We have also included a6000 BTU air conditioner with remote control that uses a custom built aluminumwindow mount so there is no reason to suffer without ac in the summer!
